Location Highlights
The Dalles sits along the Columbia River Gorge and offers direct access to outdoor recreation and regional travel routes. Columbia Hills State Park is about 15 miles east, and Memaloose State Park is about 8 miles west, giving travelers quick access to hiking, river views, and camping. The Dalles Dam Visitor Center and the Columbia Gorge Discovery Center are both located in the area, and downtown Portland is about 85 miles west for additional dining, arts, and airport access.
